Cherry Blossom Festival 2006

Today we went to the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens Cherry Blossom Festival with Pete, Eden and Kai and Bobby and Rachel. It was a most beautiful day with lots of samurai and cherry blossoms. I had fun lounging in the grass with Mommy.

Happy Birthday Oona!

Today we went to Oona's 2nd birthday party. It was a muppet themed party which I fully approved of. Muppets are my favorite. Before the party I spent some time sitting in my new chair petting Buster. He's super soft.

Manhattan Bound

Oh boy, what a day. Today Mommy, Kyra and I went into Manhattan for an exciting adventure. We went to Soho and then Mommy took me to Buy Buy Baby and bought me a green Bumbo chair! I love it! Then we met Daddy after work and went to Sullivan Bakery for pizza, mmmmmm. Oh yeah, and we also went to Old Navy and Daddy bought me some new duds for summertime. Can't wait to wear my new shorts to the park for a BBQ.

4 month check-up today

Today I went to see Dr. Gordon for my 4 month check-up. I weighed 15 lbs 3 ounces and I'm 27" tall. Wow, I guess all that snackin' is paying off. I weigh as much as Buster now. Today I was feeling the April in Paris vibe so I thought I'd go with the Euro baby look, you like? oui, tres chic.

Philly Time Out

Hey everybody! I've been chillin' in Philly for the past three days at Granny Shanny's. I saw Granny Shanny, Aunt Sara, Steven and Great Grandma Soley. We also went over to see Mike, Johanna and Audrey. They've got a sweet crib over in South Philly, can't wait to stay with them as soon as they install the hot tub on the roof deck.

Today Mommy and I went to the park with Kyra for a picnic. We had sandwiches from Russo's, mmmmmm. It was such a beautiful day. We must do it again real soon.

Q & A 2

Well, I just checked my mailbag and I see I've received a few questions from my good friend Barb. Let's see if I can answer a few of these in between meals.

Q: If you were to give a tour of your neighborhood, what sights would you put at the top of the must see list?
A: Well, if you hadn't noticed I'm a big fan of Prospect Park which is only a block away from home. It's got it all. A lake with horses, swans and unicorns and a carousel with an ice skating rink and a playground.

Q: What have been the most insightful musings that you have had while breastfeeding. You seem to have such a faraway and blissful look during this activity.
A: Oh you know, the usual things that 3 month olds think about. Mostly just Quantum Physics and the remarkable parallels to Eastern philosophies.

Q: Your wardrobe gets high marks from everyone. Do you have fashion consultant?
A: I've fired my consultant. Now Mommy let's me pick out my own outfits.

Q: If you could have any article of new clothing, what would you choose for the coming season?
A: Good question, I guess I would have to say tinted boobmaster glasses... or a new spring windbreaker would be sweet.

Today Erica and Eulaila came over and we went to the park for a walk and looked at all the pretty flowers. It's Great Grandma Hutch's birthday today, Happy Birthday! Mommy took a picture of the flowers for her.

So many visitors...

Today Daniel and Renee came over and they told us the good news. They're having a baby! Congratulations guys! Mommy has a bit of a cold so Daddy took me out for a walk in the park. It was a super beautiful day. Then cousin Amy came over for dinner and playtime in my jungle gym AND aunty Sara came over too! Quite an exciting day.

Just looking at my pics from the last few days. Wow, I had such a good time with Nana, Grandad and Granny Shanny. I miss them and hope I see them again real soon.

Monkey Suit

Check out my monkey suit that Grace sent me. I'm a little monkey. Today Granny Shanny and Mommy and I went for a long walk in the Nether Mead at Prospect Park. Then Granny Shanny baked some delicious cookies and made some soup. yummmmmmmmmm.

Today Granny Shanny, Mommy and I went hunting for bunnies in the park and went srollin' in the hood. We had sushi for dinner and then I got a bath.

Spring is back!

Today Grandad and Nana and Granny Shanny came over and we all went for a nice walk in the park. It was a beautiful day. Too bad Nana and Grandad had to go back to North Carolina so soon. This afternoon we went with Granny Shanny to get Fish 'n' Chips.

Today Grandad and Nana came over and brought bagels and lox for breakfast. Mommy and Daddy went out for massages while Nana taught me how to play the piano and Grandad showed me there is something more boring than NASCAR on TV...Golf! Zzzzzzzzzzz. After my golf nap Granny Shanny came over for dinner, dessert and some more Billy Joel piano jamz (pics to come...).

Today Nana and Grandad came to see me! We had lunch from Naidre's and Nana watched me while Mommy and Daddy went for a maiden voyage in the park on their wedding present bikes. I think they had fun, but they really missed me so they came home and Grandad made us all a super delicious dinner.

It's Tummy Time!

Today Mommy and I went to Manhattan to visit the EPI posse (Mommy's work). Then we met Daddy after work and rode the subway home and had dinner, a bath and a tummy time workout.

It snowed today!

Snow in April? Guess that means we're couchbound until Spring returns. Oh well, I still got in a nice walk today with Mommy, Julie, Audrey, Kirsten and Ozzie. Hope the weather shapes up in time for Nana and Grandad's visit this weekend. Can't wait to see them!

Happy 4th Birthday Cousin Ethan! Hope you had a great birthday and Hope to see you soon! Hey where did Spring go? It got cold again. Oh well, at least I'll get one more week of wearing my baby bear jacket and wool pants. Yeah!

Tonight Kristina came over and we made some Indian food for dinner. Next time I hope she brings some of Paul's homebrew beer!

Spring Forward!

What a beautiful weekend! We had a little picnic in the park and I caught up on watching some Baby Einstein.
